Project Description


Hochland Nest is uniquely located, almost unnoticed and nestled beneath a canopy of the Hochland Mountains.

Shaded by Camelthorn trees, the lodge is testament to the ingenuity of an eco-friendly design. As the sun steals its last rays, strokes of purple emanating from the distant mountains making for a breathtaking view, where you can feed your soul and be one with nature. The Lodge is tranquil and intimate with friendly staff providing attention to each and every guest. With two luxurious chalets and four standard chalets, each with private en-suite bathroom and secluded outdoor deck. Generous spacing between the chalets ensures complete privacy.

The ideal breakaway from the city or for a tourist to start or end their journey in Namibia.

Farm Layout

  • 1.5 m Internal fences and camps in hunting area
  • You have to go through 2 gates to get to the hunting area
  • No Livestock are kept on farm or hunting area


Hunting Season

  • From: 01 May | To: 31 August
  • Shooting range available
  • Slaughter Facilities available on farm
  • Coldroom available on farm
  • Meat can be sold back to farm
  • Meat can be sold to a butchery at the nearest town
  • South African hunters to organize permit at Veterinary Services in SA prior to arrival

Hunting Days

  • No specialised hunting or methods on the farm

Situated in Registration Division K, Khomas, Windhoek – Namibia

It is in the Khomas Hochland Area, on Road C28. Carry on straight for 33.4km and then turn left on a gravel road onto the D1418. Continue on that road straight for 12.3km, turn left and after 3.4km you reach Friedenhau Dam and Hochland Nest Lodge.

Non-Registered landing strip available.
